A tip for increasing traffic to your website

Submitting your url to search engines is supposed to increase traffic to your website. I found this list of Search Engines on Tips for New Bloggers. You may submit your site URL to these search engines for Free.

I've submitted Contrariwise Ramblings to most of these. I'll let you know if I see any more traffic. (But some of them claim that it might take WEEKS to add your website to their search engine!)

    Some sites are more SEO friendly than others, depending how they are built. I noticed that as soon as I launched my site, built with Drupal, I was uber-google and yahoo friendly. Funny, Alexa didn't catch me though, I had to submit it to them.

    Wow, great list. I had a blog awhile ago but got rid of it because I couldn't figure out how to get traffic to it. Now maybe I'll start up a new blog. Your blogging tips are fabulous!
