"This time?" How often do little kids need laxatives?

If it happens that often, maybe she is a bad mommy.

That was a short story. Surely there isn't anything nearly as bad on the market today?

I nearly died laughing when I first read it.

From what I heard, people were
VERY concerned about ...ahem..."regularity" back in that era.

And doesn't the school nurse look a little like Margaret Hamilton, the wicked witch of the west?

OMG this is so funny! "so I slapped her and said she was a bad girl", it shows how old the ad is, don't think we would ever read/hear this nowadays!!

That school nurse looks like the stereotypical "old maid" from that era. Oh yeah, I sure she can offer a lot of advice about the "delicate constitution of children".

(Sorry, my formative years were corrupted by very old and very frustrated Catholic school nuns who thought nothing of testing OUR constitutions.)
